5 years of waiting

Ever since we moved to Texas we have talked about just a few things that we miss from VA. We miss the ocean----can't do much about that. We miss seeing REAL green plants and tall trees---can't do much about that. We miss our porch swing---we CAN do something about that. Now, that is. Our old house wasn't really conducive to a porch swing. And when we first looked at this house we saw many things that we loved, but somewhere along the way we saw a place to hang a swing. Sold. I love our house for many reasons, but the fact that we got a swing back, after 5 years of waiting, makes me so unbelievably happy and, well, content. We spent hours on our old swing, talking about the good, the bad, the happy and the sad. Many memories will be made on this swing, but now, we just have two more little people to make those memories with...
