report card day

I used to remember report card day angst. The pressure, the worry, the stress...
Today is report card day and both kids are just doing wonderfully. They are growing, developing, creating strengths, indicating struggles...but overall, they are both exactly where I want them to be. It is perfect.
Report card day "real stresses" will come later in life, I'm sure. For now, I will enjoy a quarterly report that says that things are right where they should be.

Amazingly enough, Keaton got some of his highest marks in Spanish. Strange but true...and impressive.
