are you my mother?

This book is one of those "memorable" ones for me. It was the first book that Elliott read back to me (he was only 2 at the time)---I thought he was learning how to read, but really he had just memorized the whole thing. After all, I guess you memorize something that has been read to you hundreds of times over the course of a year. Now, Keaton is reading it back to me. I think the text of this book has a permanent place in my mind. Love it.
