One of the joys of my day is making lunch for my little soldiers. I don't know why I like it so much, but I do. Maybe it is because I KNOW what they are eating, and I know that it is not a bunch of junk. Or maybe it is because I know how excited they will get when they see what is in there. Some days I will put a special treat---or I'll put a personal "favorite". Regardless, somewhere in my mind I feel like every time they open their lunch box they feel a little love from me, and well, that is just priceless.
